Reel Dialogue - Adulting Film list

Do I have to grow up?
Topics

Adulting - Urban dictionary: To carry out one or more of the duties and responsibilities expected of fully developed individuals (paying off that credit card debt, settling beefs without blasting social media, etc).

Growing up is hard to do regardless of what season you find yourself in this year. The current term for this transition in life is now called adulting. A term that can be defined as clumsily impersonating our role models and pretending we have our lives together. It is different than merely coming of age, it tends to mean that we are taking responsibility for our lives.

This awkward season of humanity has managed to provide many great story lines for film. Some are hilarious, while others are more dramatic, but wherever they are on this sliding scale, they are worth revisiting. Reel Dialogue has put together a list of movies that go into the ‘adulting’ category. A perfect list for the upcoming holiday season and a test to see how you are doing at growing up.
