Meet the man behind the Hollywood movie Hardball, Bob Muzikowski. Bucking the trend of living in comfortable and secluded, gated communities, Bob and his wife Tina raised their seven kids and foster children in a violent, black neighbourhood of Chicago. From starting a baseball team that grew into the largest Little League in the nation, Bob acquired a defunct secondary school and launched Hope Academy. In an age of much hypocritical activism, Bob's story is a raw account of faith in action.

Bob Muzikowski is founder and president of Chicago Hope Academy, a Christian high school on the West side of Chicago that seeks to serve children in high-risk neighbourhoods. Having achieved success as the owner of an investment and insurance company, Muzikowski has a passion for lifting kids out of desperate situations and transforming them into “leaders of character empowered by the hope that is in Jesus Christ.” Together with several colleagues, Muzikowski founded Chicago Hope Academy and operated the largest inner-city Little League in the country.
