A Stitch in Time is a beautiful Australian film.
Within the story, the lead character goes through various trials. She even mentions to a friend that she thought that if she was good all of her life, God would provide for her.
Yet, he didn't seem to provide the way she thought he should.
Interestingly, her story showed how she grew as a person while going through these difficulties.
This elderly woman was not defined by her hardships, but they did help to mold her into the woman she would become.
In the end, she turned out better and even achieved her dreams while not losing sight of the people in her life.
Interestingly, this is a biblical idea found in the book of James.
It says to consider it pure joy, whenever you face trials and to let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
