Pales in Comparison

It's all about perspective
Topics

Recently, my son yelled out to me from the other end of our house, "Dad, come here—there's a huge spider in the bathroom." I rushed to inspect, only to find a spider smaller than my little fingernail.

I guess it's all about perspective, isn't it?

That if you never have seen a truly big spider, then one that size looks big.

It can be a bit like that with God sometimes;

that if we've only ever known the love and care of another human before, then we can think that's as big as love and care can get.

But when you encounter God's love and care for you, everything else pales in comparison.

Don't believe me? Why not look and find out?

It's certainly a more rewarding search to go on than hunting for a spider in your bathroom.
