I recently read a powerful, but also confronting new Australian novel

The book asks the question, if someone hurt you and you had to decide their punishment, what would you do?

Would the punishment fit the crime?

It’s a powerful book because it taps into something we all long for

Justice

But it’s also confronting because it raises the question, will I get justice right?

If I’m hurt and I’m deciding the punishment am I the best judge?

That’s why I’m so thankful that the Bible promises one day God will right all wrongs

That even if I’m treated unjustly I can leave it with Him

Because one day He will bring about perfect justice

So do you long for justice?

In the world

Or even in your own life

Then why not get to know the God who loves justice

And who promises to one day right all wrongs
