Recently our washing machine broke and needed replacing
With three kids in the house this wasn’t a decision I could spend weeks considering
No, I needed to get a new machine today
Some decisions are like that
But others we do well to pause and reflect for a while first
Decisions about which job to take, whether to get a pet, or even who to marry
But how do we know which is which?
The Bible teaches that wisdom to make good decisions comes from God
He might not tell you exactly what job to take, but when you’re trusting in Him and pursuing the things He desires it does make things clearer
Like the fact I need to stop doing this now and go and do another load of washing
