Counting the Hairs on Your Head
The other day, my vacuum cleaner decided to stop working. There were too many hairs stuck in the suction. As I untangled the mess, I was equally marvelled and disgusted at how many strands there were!
Whilst it's easy to keep count of how many fingers we have, it's much harder to take stock of the number of hairs on our head. And yet, God knows.
He knows every single minute detail of His creation.
The number of of hairs on our heads.
The preferences and desires of our hearts.
The griefs and the sorrows that we carry.
Rather than feeling exposed, God invites us to trust in His all-knowingness because He is also a God of love.
It's not scary to be fully known by God when we trust in His promises that He will meet every part of us with grace, patience and forgiveness.
