Confrontation!

Jesus confronted his enemies in the last week of his life

As we read the gospels we see Jesus has offended both the left and right wings of Jewish religious politics. In Mark 12 we see this conflict come to a head.

This confrontation will ultimately lead to Jesus' execution. But Jesus claims the impact will not end with his death, and will change our lives.

In this short series of talks in the lead up to Easter, City Legal looks at the last days of the life of Jesus. There is escalating conflict with Jesus' opponents, sober instructions to his band of followers, and Jesus' deep internal struggle upon which rests (according to the Christian faith) the destiny of all humankind.

Our speaker is Kanishka Raffel who is the Dean of the Anglican Cathedral of St Andrews. Kanishka was formerly a lawyer with Blake Dawson (now Ashurst).
