Most people feel like an outsider at some point in their lives. What if God considered you an outsider?

C.S. Lewis famously discussed this phenomenon in ‘The Inner Ring’, the Memorial Lecture delivered at King’s College, University of London in 1944. (Transcript available here.) Most people feel like an outsider at some point in their lives. What if God considered you an outsider? In this talk we hear about a time when one of these outsiders approached Jesus, how he responded and what the implications are for us today.

The biographies of Jesus record him talking to people from all kinds of situations. From the lonely and excluded to diligent workers and people who look like they have it all, Jesus had something to tell them. In this series of talks we will consider what God has to say to us today by looking at what Jesus said to people of his day.
