Stories, story-telling and adventure have been part of human experience for centuries. We still watch epic multi-part epic stories on our streaming platforms and in cinemas.

What does epic literature say about the human condition? Is noble heroism the answer to the turmoil of existence? Are we the playthings of fate? And does Christianity have an alternative?
