Do I need to be an artist to appreciate art? No, any of us can appreciate artistry.
From watching the musician busking, walking through a sculpture garden, to enjoying a well-produced film. Art comes in various forms, and the appreciation manifests in different ways. You don't have to be an artist to appreciate it, so maybe a better question is:
Why do humans create art at all?
It is a complex idea, but the simple answer is that a creative God made us.
The true master inspires the best of art.
The human form and all of nature arouses the artist in us, because is it part of our DNA.
The created are creative because we are the artistry of the master artist—the God of the Bible.
