Can we know God?
When we look out into space and the vast cosmos around us - it seems that there might be something behind it all. We have an intuition that there is a spiritual presence and intelligence behind the universe.
But can we ever know this spiritual reality?
The universe seems so big, impersonal, powerful and majestic - is it possible to know him, she or it at all?
One of the unique and audacious claims made by Jesus, was in the Gospel of John where he said that, anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.
Jesus is saying, if you’ve seen me - you’ve seen his Father - who is the spiritual force behind all of creation. So Jesus represents God.
Astonishingly Jesus is saying that to know something of the spiritual reality behind all of the universe - we can look to Jesus.
