All of these works exist to start conversations and communities that discuss faith and God throughout the cities of Australia. Russ writes film reviews and articles for various publications. He has a passion for film and getting the conversations started on themes from these visual creations. Spaces that engage workers with the bigger life questions include movies, Jesus, the Bible and God.

Andrew Laird works for City Bible Forum in Canberra and directs Life@Work - an initiative aimed at connecting Christian faith with our daily work. He's the author of I am what I do: Reshaping our understanding of self and work, and Under Pressure: how the gospel helps us handle the pressures of daily work.

Sam Chan

Dr. Sam Chan is one of Third Space's national communicators. He is a cultural analyst, theologian, public speaker, author, medical doctor, and karaoke buddy. Sam was born in Hong Kong, grew up and lives in Australia, studied medicine at the University of Sydney, and did his PhD in Chicago, USA. He is a published author of five books.

Stephen McAlpine

Stephen writes and speaks on issues of culture, social trends and religious beliefs. He has worked as a church pastor for three decades and has been a national communicator for City Bible Forum. Originally from Belfast in Northern Ireland, he's now based in Australia, and is currently doing a locum in Christchurch. He is married to Jill who is a Clinical Psychologist. His latest book, Being the Bad Guys, was 2021 Australian Christian Book of the Year.
