Macquarie Men's Fellowship with Graham Hooper
City Bible Forum offices (St John's Church)
79 Davey Street, Hobart
The Macquarie Men's Fellowship offers a place for guys to share their stories, experiences and reflections over breakfast, in a relaxed setting. We believe these conversations are increasingly rare, but all the more important and good for the soul.
For our October session we’ll be hearing from Melbourne import Graham Hooper, who’ll be sharing some of the experiences that tested him with stories from around 5 continents. Graham will also discuss how he dealt with setbacks, failures and occasional disasters at work. With it being a long weekend for some, we know not everyone will be around necessarily. We're still very happy to run it, but please let us know if you are able to come along by registering as soon as you can.
IMPORTANT VENUE INFORMATION
Due to the long weekend our usual venue is unavailable, and we'll be meeting at the City Bible Forum offices instead. You can find them at 79 Davey Street at the back of St John's Presbyterian Church. Look for the signs and head up the stairs, we have a small boardroom we can use.
In terms of breakfast, we'll be doing our own catering. Our plan is to arrange some breakfast wraps and fresh coffee. You can let us know what coffee you'd like (e.g. Flat White, Long Black, alternative milks etc...) in the additional information box and we'll order it. Similarly if you have dietary requirements, let us know and we'll pick up whatever you need. Please register by Tuesday if you can, so we can place orders on Wednesday morning instead.
Click 'Register Now' to sign up and let us know you're coming. You can arrive around 7:15am for a 7:30am start. We then finish at 8:30am sharp to allow plenty of time for getting to work. Further details for accessing the venue will be provided once you have registered.

They are designed to create a space for men to share their stories of success, failure, hardship and hope intertwined with questions of life, faith and meaning.
