The Bridge Fellowship are looking forward to hearing from His Honour Magistrate Peter Feather at our next meetings. Peter will be speaking in person on both Tuesday 13th August and Friday 16th August, with the addition of zoom on Friday.
Peters’ professional years began at the NSW police force, specialising into the Police Prosecution Branch. At the age of 21, Peter became one of the youngest police prosecutors in NSW history and studied Law on Scholarship through Macquarie University. Serving on many local Courts, in 1987, Peter was admitted as a Legal Practitioner to the Supreme Court of NSW. With time as Partner in Humphreys & Feather Lawyers, Peter now operates in Parramatta Local Court as Co-ordinating Magistrate. He is also extensively involved in Judicial Education including lecturing and conducting pre-bench education with new Magistrates.
