We are very pleased to announce our next Bridge Fellowship speaker, Gabriel Gewargis.
Gabriel Gewargis is the co-founder of The BBQ Store, an Australian business that grew from a simple idea at a family barbecue into a thriving online retail and wholesale company. In 2007, watching his father cook souvla on a traditional Cyprus Grill, Gabriel recognised an opportunity to introduce this style of cooking to a wider Australian audience. In 2008, Gabriel and his wife Rita began selling Cyprus Grills from their family home and online. What began with just two barbecues steadily expanded, and the business was incorporated in 2011. A major breakthrough came when a Cyprus Grill featured on Better Homes and Gardens, generating a surge in sales. Gabriel has built the business around innovation, persistence and continuous improvement, growing The BBQ Store into a major supplier of barbecue products.
