We are very pleased to announce our next Bridge Fellowship speaker, Dr David Knox.
Dr David Knox AM, PhD has played a pivotal role in shaping retirement income systems in Australia and around the world. As a senior actuary and former Senior Partner at Mercer, he specialised in superannuation, pension design, and retirement policy, helping improve retirement outcomes for millions of people. David was the lead author of the Mercer CFA Institute Global Pension Index, which compares retirement systems across more than 39 countries and covers almost two-thirds of the world’s population. He has served on numerous government and industry committees, was a board member of APRA from 1998–2003, and served as President of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia in 2000. In 2023, he was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia.
