Atheists ain’t got no songs? Where do we get our inspiration for music? Can we plumb the heights and depths of human experience and human emotion without some sort of spiritual connection? Where does music and creativity come from?

    Tim Hawkins, the American Christian Comedian, wrote a few atheist worship songs, of course from Christian worship songs. I am sure you can find them on YouTube. And the line about no atheists in foxholes is attributed to a Catholic priest while on Bataan in WWII. He survived the death march, but, I think I remember this right, he was being transported to Japan and the ship went down. Nevertheless, he did not survive the war - (reference: Abie Abraham's book "Oh, God, Where are You?"
