Unpacking The Murky World of Recruitment
We look forward to welcoming you to the next meeting of the Transition Group on Tuesday, 14th October. We have the privilege of hearing from Kok Kong Chan. Together with Peter Kaldor, Kok Kong helped start the Transition Group.
Our interview with Kok Kong will dive into the murky world of recruitment as well as explore the needs of senior executives and boards. Having experienced numerous transitions in his professional and personal life, Kok Kong combines his professional insights with a deep empathy for others. His honorary role as Chair of HammondCare perfectly illustrates this.
The Transition Group is for individuals who are between roles. It is open to workers of all ages across Australia, particularly office workers and professionals who have been affected by job loss, are concerned it may affect them, or are contemplating a change of direction.
The group provides a communal space where people between roles are welcomed and feel safe. It offers encouragement and support through professional input, shared stories, and examples of successful transition. The group meets under the leadership auspices of the City Bible Forum’s Third Space initiative.
