Stewarding the Tools We’ve Been Given
Our next session of the Transition Group will be a very practical one. Our speaker Nigel Gordon will illustrate how he has embraced AI to win work and grow his business.
Nigel is no stranger to transition and change. He has worked in a variety of professions and has learnt to adapt to many new challenges.
An engineer by training, Nigel spent a number of years in pioneering Christian work before embarking on corporate advisory projects in oil and gas. The decline of that industry has forced Nigel to reinvent himself. He has been energised by how AI can assist the growth of a landscaping business he acquired.
Nigel is not a software engineer; most of what he now builds with AI he has taught himself in the last eighteen months, including a recent ERP migration he completed in about six weeks at roughly a fifth of the cost a traditional consultant had quoted.
