With loneliness at epidemic levels in the Western world, what would Jesus say to someone who is isolated and lonely?

Did you know that 60% of Australians rate themselves as “lonely”? Some have said that loneliness has reached epidemic levels in the Western world. It is just as likely to cause death as smoking 15 cigarettes a day. Or twice as deadly as obesity.This week, we see Jesus meet a woman who is isolated, lonely, and broken. Listen to what he says to her – and maybe we can find the same message of hope and restoration.
