When I’m in Sydney people say “Sydney’s better than Melbourne yeah?”
And I go “Yeah!”
But when I’m in Melbourne people say “You like Melbourne better than Sydney don’t you?”
And I go “Yeah!”
Everyone argues about it.
What I WANT to say
Is like that girl in the TACO shell ad
Soft tacos or hard tacos?
Why can’t it be both?
Sydney AND Melbourne!
Is Jesus our King
Who rules our lives
Is Jesus our Rescuer
Who saves our lives?
King – our Lord?
Rescuer – our Saviour?
The Bible says
Why can’t it be both!
He’s in charge – our king
Because he’s our rescuer
And he rescued us
Because he’s in charge
We couldn’t rescue ourselves
We need a Saviour
We can’t rule ourselves
We need a king
Not Sydney
Not Melbourne
Not even a bit of each – Canberra!
Jesus is both
Rescuer and King
Saviour and Lord
