Cooking should be slow and inefficient. The God of the Bible loves his low and slow.
Because God works through the inefficiencies in our life:
- a failed exam
- a career that went nowhere
- a broken relationship
The ultimate low and slow is Jesus becoming a human like us
- Dying for us
- Living for us
- Pouring his Spirit into our lives and each day
God makes us more and more into the person he wants us to be. It’s a long journey. But the destination is worth it. The Bible says there will be a slow cooked banquet waiting for us.
