The Greatest RSVP of All Time

It is a matter of life and death
Topics

Did you know that the term 'RSVP' comes from the French phrase "Please reply?"

We might come across these four letters when we are gifted with an invitation to something special.

The options are either to accept the invitation or regretfully decline.

Work meeting invites are much more ordinary and come with three options: Yes, No and Maybe. If you're anything like me, the tentative responses simply defer the decision and most likely frustrate the host!

God gave us the the greatest invitation of all time.

He invites us into a relationship with Him through the works and words of Jesus.

Either we accept to belive what Jesus says about Himself—that He is God's Son sent to save us from sin and death, into new life with God forever—or, we decline. This is the greatest RSVP of all time.

It is a matter of life and death.

Perhaps it's time o explore who Jesus is and turn our 'maybe's into 'yes'es.
