Summary: Finley Sinclair (Rose Reid) is at a crossroads in her life. As an aspiring violinist, her dreams came crashing down after a poor tryout at a prestigious New York music conservatory. She decides that she needs a change of pace to get her head straight and study abroad in an Irish coastal village. In a serendipitous moment, Finley manages to fly over with movie star Beckett Rush (Jedidiah Goodacre) and they reside at the same bed and breakfast as part of her student program. A connection that gets off to a challenging beginning, but eventually flourishes as they both continue cross paths during their time in Ireland. Their lives are significantly changed by the people of the small community and by one another as they attempt to determine the next season of their lives. Each has to decide whether they can change enough to incorporate one other into this new future.
Short Take: Finding You has all of the elements that will make fans of rom-coms cheer and others roll their eyes in disdain. It is a tale of beautiful people in a breath-taking land searching for themselves and discovering one another in the process. There are no real surprises in the setup and the narrative, but that is heartwarming and enjoyable to watch. This is a formula has proven the test of time and provides a place for fans of romance looking for an innocent love story of self-discovery. Reid and Goodacre do have the chemistry needed to keep this love story alive, even though they seem to be at the early stages of their acting careers.
What helps to get this story across the line is the inclusion of a double dose of the wise sage. Veteran talent Vanessa Redgrave (The Secret Scripture) and Patrick Bergan (Free Fire) add depth to the Irish romance with their own unique backstories. While the Irish countryside provides a beautiful backdrop for the young couple to explore as they determine if their love can survive the semester. All to say that this is a good option for youth groups and rom-com tragics around the world to enjoy a safe and endearing night at the cinema.

Under the romance of Finding You is a story of two young people trying to find their way in the world. They are hoping to find answers to their questions of making the next step. Asking the question we all have to ask at some point in life, where can we find the answers to our questions?
The issue of gaining wisdom can be sought through the latest motivational speaker, great philosophers of the past or maybe someone who personifies good personal judgment in life. The only problem with all of these sources can be that even though they may be competent in one area, this does not mean that they always make the best choices.
That brings us back to the niggling issue of seeking wisdom. Can it be found in this life?
The first step is finding the source of all wisdom and who is the holder of these insights. The Bible says that the beginning of knowledge begins in the fear of the Lord. (Proverbs 1:7) This means the first place to go for insights is God, who gives out his wisdom freely to all who seek after him and listen.
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. James 1:5
This revelation is a groundbreaking concept, that all knowledge and wisdom can be found in God of the Bible. It is there for the taking, but there is a catch. Belief.
To access this infinite pool of enlightenment and salvation, a person has to believe in the source. If you want to gain the wisdom of the universe, then you have to make your first 'good choice.' Believe in the God of the Bible.
