Macquarie Men's Fellowship with Michael Wood

A space for guys to talk life, faith and meaning over breakfast

When
Fri 24 Mar, 7.15am-8.30am
Cost
$15 (Breakfast + Coffee included)

The Macquarie Men's Fellowship offers a place for guys to share their stories, experiences and reflections over breakfast, in a relaxed setting. We believe these conversations are increasingly rare, but all the more important and good for the soul.

For our March session we'll be hearing from Mike Wood. Michael is the National
Secretary of Prison Fellowship Australia, and is involved in visiting inmates at Risdon Prison, as well as facilitating various courses and programs for inmates. Mike will be talking about some of his experiences in this environment, and what he's learnt over his 30+ years of volunteering.

In terms of breakfast, we'll be doing our own catering. Our plan is to arrange some breakfast wraps and fresh coffee. You can let us know what coffee you'd like (e.g. Flat White, Long Black, alternative milks etc...) in the additional information box and we'll order it from Stagg coffee that day. Similarly if you have dietary requirements, let us know and we'll pick up whatever you need. Meeting in the CBD thankfully allows us some flexibility when it comes to our breakfast set up.

Register below to let us know you're coming. You can arrive around 7:15am for a 7:30am start. We then finish at 8:30am sharp to allow plenty of time for getting to work. Further details for accessing the venue will be provided once you have registered.

Third Space has regularly been hosting men's breakfasts around the country. They are designed to create a space for men to share their stories of success, failure, hardship and hope intertwined with questions of life, faith and meaning. People from all walks of life are welcome, regardless of faith background, belief or worldview.
