The Macquarie Men's Fellowship is back for our July session, just before the school holidays kick off. Levi Causon will be joining us after his initial booking was postponed due to the wild weather in May. He'll be sharing some of his experiences in the world of finance, family and faith. We hope you can join us.
Levi was born and bred in Hobart, Tasmania, spending his entire childhood in the Island state. He later spread his wings as a young adult and found himself in London - circumstantially and spiritually - where the pluralistic setting offered a confronting religious choice, before returning home to start a family. Now he runs two Consulting business in the Building and Civil Infrastructure sector, and is knee deep in young family life, with an almost 2 year old boy, and almost 5 year old girl. When he gets spare time he can be found riding all around the state on his mountain bike, but gets excited by almost anything on two wheels!
In terms of breakfast, we'll be doing our own catering. Our plan is to arrange some breakfast wraps and fresh coffee. You can let us know what coffee you'd like (e.g. Flat White, Long Black, alternative milks etc...) in the additional information box and we'll order it from Stagg coffee that day. Similarly if you have dietary requirements, let us know and we'll pick up whatever you need. Meeting in the CBD thankfully allows us some flexibility when it comes to our breakfast set up.
Register below to let us know you're coming. You can arrive around 7:15am for a 7:30am start. We then finish at 8:30am sharp to allow plenty of time for getting to work. Further details for accessing the venue will be provided once you have registered.
Third Space has regularly been hosting men's breakfasts around the country. They are designed to create a space for men to share their stories of success, failure, hardship and hope intertwined with questions of life, faith and meaning. People from all walks of life are welcome, regardless of faith background, belief or worldview.
