Kanishka Raffel was born in London to Sri Lankan parents and was raised as a Buddhist. While studying law at Sydney University a friend gave him a copy of The Gospel according to John and he subsequently became a Christian. He has served as the 12th Dean of St Andrew's Cathedral, Sydney, from 4 February 2016 - 2021. On 6 May 2021, he was elected as the next Anglican Archbishop of Sydney. He is married to Cailey and they have two daughters. He loves curry, cricket and having gelato at the beach with his family but knows no pleasure so great as sharing the news about Jesus with people who have no idea who Jesus is or how much he loves them.
David Robertson is an experienced presenter and debater on the place of the Christian faith in the public sphere, a prolific blogger at The Wee Flea and he was the minister at St Peter's Free Church in Dundee, Scotland for 27 years. David joined City Bible Forum in 2019 to lead a new initiative called Third Space. As well as continuing to speak at City Legal, David also works with churches, seeking to help them communicate the good news in a world that desperately needs it.
Danny has worked in mentoring, training and teaching university students the good news of Jesus for most of his working life, for 17 years in France, and for the past 8.5 years at Sydney University. Married to Debbie, he has 4 sons, aged between 25 and 16. Through the ups and downs of life in France and Australia, he has learnt that there is nothing more important than knowing God as revealed in Jesus Christ, and also the value and importance of investing in the next generation.
